the ARTeficIO is a new reality in the center of Turin, a recreational and associative center dedicated to the expression of all forms of ART such as music, theater, photography, painting, dance, and to the expression of the Ego understood as the free use and personalization of an ideal space for meeting with already established artists or young people looking for opportunities, but also for private or corporate events, courses and workshops. ARTeficIO’s more than 400 square meters contain a cafeteria with hot and cold food, a theater, event and club rooms, and spaces for co-working and educational and training activities.

The idea is to develop a community center that relates to the residents of the area, but more importantly can involve a wide catchment area on a city and regional scale attentive to cultural and artistic initiatives. The facility operates autonomously but also in collaboration with associations and nonprofit entities, taking care of the production of activities and initiatives, but also making space available for rent to individuals and moral or commercial entities. The project was created with the aim of managing the space as a container of initiatives aimed at a cross-section of the public, who can understand the facility as a point of reference, entertainment and information. The operation is to promote sociality and participation through the development, popularization, teaching, production and dissemination of the arts such as music, theater, film and television, radio, publishing and visual arts. ARTeficIO also works for the enhancement of the territory and the artistic and cultural heritage of the area concerned through artistic and recreational initiatives.
